Ciara Sheedy will be Swinford’s lone representative at this weekend’s Connacht Championships. Having won the a Mayo ladies title earlier in the month Ciara will take to the scales in Foxford on Saturday.
Aoife Hennigan will miss the championships as she is on international duty in Germany and Jack Kavanagh has to wait until Mid March for his next outing in the Connacht Championships.
Training has stepped up a gear for Sheedy, Hennigan and Kavanagh in recent weeks with early mornings being the order of the day. No pain, no gain as they say….
