St Patrick’s Day Parade

The club will be taking part in the annual Swinfrod St Patrick’s Day parade this weekend as is custom. All members are asked to meet in the Gym at 11:30 on Sunday so that preparations can be made. All particpants are asked to bring their boxing gear.

Hennigan makes it 5 in a row

  Aoife Hennigan made it five Connacht titles in a row, at yesterday’s U18 championships in Foxford. Hennigan defeated a brave Sandra Cassidy of Castlebar BC in yesterdays final.   Jack Kavanagh brought his A game to Foxford on Saturday, with a season’s best performance against Edward McDonagh of Titan’s club in Galway, and in the process advanced to next Saturday’s Connacht Final in Oughterard, on a scoreline of 15-5. Sheedy retains Connacht Title

  Ciara Sheedy retained her Connacht title in last weekend’s Girl 5 Championships. Ciara’s journey to go one step better than last season and win an Irish Crown, continues in late April at the National Stadium, Dublin.
